Wizardry 8

Rapaxian is fan-art for Sir-tech's Wizardry 8 released in 2002. It takes the form of a mod which won't be developed. The premise takes place on Dominus a century[ish] before the events of Marten making off with the Destinae Dominus.
Most of the mod's story centers around the war between the Higardi and Rapax. This mod was made for both the possibility of creating custom items and adjusting existing items.

There is also the Artistry mod (1.2.5) in which many graphical glitches are resolved i.e. trees above ground, bushes out of place and overly shaded places brightened.

A null voice option for characters.
Cloud of Madness: Pink, purple shades swirl icon. Irritant, insanity, turncoat.
Flaming arrows invokes firestorm to enemies.

Revamp of traps on chests and doors.

All spells from a priest have double effect to/from undead, all attacks, defense twice as effective from undead attacks. i.e. Razer Cloak and Firering.
Battle end displays Kills won as well as number of Allies Lost, except revived PCs.
Scroll of Persevere, resist fear enhancement during battle.
Sani-tea: Cure insanity power 1. Stagnate water texture indoors.
Poverty Party option: Begins a new game with party having no items of any kind.
NPCs will only utter their greeting once in a 24-hour (in-game) period. And the greeting differs; i.e. Crock could say "Friendly folk" rather than the usual "Crawled outa the swamp did ja?".
'Replenish' spell-name replaces 'Restore Health'.
Guard Wand: Summon Elemental spell-lvl1.
Spider Bite stones; 90% chance to PO, str 2, 1 to 9 dmg. 30% Irritant.
Summon Elemental spell is in Mental spell pool - as elementals require thought :P
Bullet Stones name replaced with Pellet Stones.
All Stones can be thrown with same range as darts and throwing knives.
Venders stock stacks of 100 darts and throwing knives.

Burz summons 4 saplings.

Memo: In Dungeon Lords, they have the same images for the trap components, but they have 2-frame animations.
oIn Rapaxian, some of the traps do things that no spell does, they are:
Lowers a faction rating from Friendly to Neutral.
Transports the party to a remote location.
Reduces the Carrying Capacity to half until the zone is reentered.
Lowered a skill point by 1, duel weapons, divine magic, scouting...
''If you have a melee heavy party(I usually do) in the party BATTLE FORMATION (circle thingy at the bottom of the screen when you first plop onto the monastery beach), leave the top bracket empty. Spread your melees over the center circle as well as the left and right bracket (put whatever squishy party members you have in the bottom bracket). Now with top bracket empty, party members in the left, right and circle brackets can ALL reach enemies directly in front of your party. Center circle bracket can still not reach enemies that that have flanked your left or right, however (unless they use an extended reach weapon, like a spear). Those have to be dealt with by those in the nearest bracket (or you can turn your party, change formation or use range/magic attacks).''

Major Conditions;
Diseased; Stamina sluggishly regains. For party characters, A day or more results in 1 point loss of stamina or an attribute permanently! A host of conditions appear days after, including but not limited to; Nausea, Blindness, Insanity, Irritation, Paralysis and Poisoning. Cure Disease, Restoration, Resurrection(from being Dead). Only known major-condition to effect both characters and foes.
Drained; Stationary HP loss via foes and life-drain trap. Can stack. Despite the description of some items, known only to effect party characters. Renewal, Resurrection(from being Dead). Try having this on an RPC, they get hexed instead when dismissed from the party.
Dead; Party Characters only. For non-party characters, see oddball conditions below.
 Missing; Party Characters only. Not to be confused with Vanished.
Swallowed by swallowers, helligators, nessie. The Mook can borrow a PC. Crock can kidnap a PC (but not an RPC).
 Enthralled; Party Characters only.
 Caused by leaving the Rift after doing it with her. Creates Hexed.
Negative Battle Conditions; These can't exist outside of combat for anyone. For the party, these exist as group effects in the upper-left corner of the hud. For outside party entities they display as conditions similar to most status effects. Note, I was unable to get any of the conditions listed below (and some above) to be caused by weapons (not counting spell-casting items of course).

The RPC is pretty much hexed without the hexed icon showing.
Additionally, if you dismiss the RPC while in this state (via medium condition (Unconscious, Paralyzed)), they will refuse to join the party despite being in good standing with them. At least until they return to the default location they are found at after leaving the party and zone.
Circumstances with no assigned graphic possible; I've named these on my own.
Disposed; When player chooses to dispose of an RPCs remains while in party. There is no way of undoing this.

Erased\Retired\Vanished; (Glitch?) RPCs have been known to disappear. This bug is caused by, for example, In Arnika with a RPC (Sparkle) is dismissed and the party moves out of sight of the RPC, VI will vanish as well. after the party has reached a curtain point regarding quests. IE Joining both the T'rang and Umpani has been known to make both Myles and Vi vanish approximately right after paying off He'li to keep her quiet about your secret. Not an exact science, but can be delayed if Myles is in the party.

Abandon; Most RPCs while in the party may quit the party (Text string in window ''[RPC Name] quits the party!'') either due to the death of multiple user created PCs during or after battle, or if the party is hostile towards the faction the RPC belongs to, IE Sparkle leaves if the party attacks most Umpani (She'll utter ''You're a bad person!'').

Distrust (via theft attempt); Party is caught stealing (pickpocketing or shoplifting). This can be remedied by gifting an item to the character in question. It is possible that the Communication skill was meant for this when choosing the friendly or hostile buttons in the status bar, but I've had no luck. It's also possible that the Communication skill was meant to get information from characters with out having to tip them (IE asking Burz about the Monastery). But that's so little gold it was not seemingly coded in. I have yet to get Communication to yield anyone to divulge additional dialogue that would normally exclaim the script when asking them about a subject they have no info about (IE Burz; ''Well, I should be going soon'' or ''So, hey, have you looked at my new stuff yet?'').
RPC Death; (non in-party characters) RPCs that are killed outside of the party can't be brought back.

Phantom; (Glitch) (Non user created party members) RPCs that are killed outside of the party have been known to reappear in their default location (IE Urq in the upstairs UMA) but not be conversable (clicking on their model won't open the dialogue). I've seen this happen with Urq and Sparkle. It is well worth seeing if they still fight for the party.

Quasi Perma-death; Party character has Dead condition and icon, but their portrait(face) appears to be Unconscious\Paralyzed rather than a skull, and they can't be resurrected. This glitch can be caused by unequipping an item (that raises their hit points) while they are low enough on HP that taking away the item causes their hit points to drop below 1 (they die), then re-equipping the item. There is all sorts of testing to be done with this but, I even have a save file on my Mega.nz site with a character to be tested on (1hp.sav?).
Accidental party death via vitality loss; This can happen if a party-character with few hit-points; Has the superman enhancement wear off, becomes hexed in someway (disgruntled, enthralled outside of rift) resulting in instant death and or an item requiring some amount of an attribute to be forcibly removed (as well as changing classes, but that's very highly unlikely seeing that gaining a level increases HP(so it would be like a faerie mage)).
Actions; These don't count as conditions in any way, but are listed for measure.
Searching; When the party is searching they can be ambushed.

Protected; An entity can be protected by another nearby entity.

Cheated Death; The Valkyrie can normally cheat death just one time each battle, but after the first time in that combat session, they probably won't re-cheat death.

The retro dungeons have a feeling to them that is likened to a haunted place. Despite the bloodshed the surfaces remain clean, as though the floors and walls absorb the flesh from all the battles.
Possess, target will momentarily be turncoated and or insane for their turn, with out displaying an icon.
