Minecraft Chapter 3 - Potential Features


Mushroom flesh make a great walkway in a generated mushroom village
A one quarter meter window for generated buildings in a village.

Quarter meter vents on the side of generated structures.
xTNT explosion may turn coal blocks into dropped resource, much like silk touch
A portal block to be gained and placed.
These could be bought via villagers.

The portal placed would vanish after a visit to the nether but the player would appear in place of the portal after returning from the nether.
Rail textures for
'T' and 'r' junction 
merges.

A curved rail slanted.
x Stone texture would differ slightly from block to block 
Generated structures of leaf blocks
Enhancements would be up gradable.
Power III to Power IV via enchantment table.
Underwater grass would be seaweed
Moon light would reflect on the fancy cloud tops what would also be at varying Y axis. Cloud Nine enhancement would allow user to walk on fancy clouds.
In the over world, soul sand would be re-textured to be mud.
Or mud would have the viscosity of lava yet appear as brown water
Snow would be a grass shade and tree leaves would be white rather than a snow layer on top
An achievement for finding a stronghold above ground
Particles:
Tan=Sand
Greys=Gravel
Any colored concrete powder

Decaying leaves would have green particles.
A block of a compact cabin, when placed it becomes a 4x4x4 shelter.

Barrel storage item, 1x1x1 block. Holds a 3 x 9 inventory.
Cupboard storage item, 0.5x1x1 block. Holds a 2 x 8 inventory.

Rebound block, similar to the slime block, these would bounce the player horizontally when ran into.
In a rare place, cane would grow countless meters high
[A lighting glitch] Wet sand appears darker
Some tables in villages would be stone.

Small trees would have fence posts as its trunk.
1 pixel [1/16th meter] lava layer
Enchantment for spades, axes and pickaxes to mine adjacent blocks of the same block ID.
Similar to wolf companions, tiny slimes could be tamed.
They would be immune to all physical damage except lava.
It is possible to see both the sun and moon below the horizon.
In my mod, not so... It gives the impression of a flat earth.
Dwarf mode, 1x1x1 meter human model.
Player being inside leaf blocks would partially obscure vision. Sorta have one side of the fancy oak leaf block texture plaster the screen.
Hide horse head with F1
 Re-texturing two sides of the workbench block.
One side nothing, one side measurer and drill.
Lava and water have large texture png files despite displaying 16x16 pixels on every meter to prevent obvious patterns.
Swords destroy leaf blocks instantly, but don't leave behind resource as shears do.

Make any wood tool from any wood item.

Mining smooth-stone with bare hands has a quarter chance to drop cobblestone.
Zombie villages.

This farmer zombie has no fore arms.

Leaves would have a minuscule chance to become brown when trees are generating in new chunks
 Chest block would return to its original size. 
 
Rails could be placed
and stood upon with
out an under block.

The rail's pixels would
be 3D as are held 2D items.
 Lava would set webs alight within 5 meters 
 Vast open-space cave complexes generate deep underground. 
The stars would be single pixel white dots with some gleam and gray scale pixels with no sparkle.
 Cave biomes made of bedrock. 
Biome of saplings.

Biome of drained
waterway with frozen surface.
Super Flat biomes.

 Some pockets of non flat chunks. 
As mountain goats can climb nearly vertical stone cliffs, sheep would as well.
Grass in swamp areas would contrast with non swamp chunks once in awhile.
Burnt Forest Biome.

Smoky's not gonna be happy...
Herobrine Woods biome;
 no leaves, little grass, shaded area.

Herobrine would not actually appear.

 Air Ships seem to be the most natural neutral way for air travel.

Some skeletons would spawn half in ground so they would be stationary
 Cocoas would detach themselves and become a dropped resource 
Chests would remain open until player steps away far enough to not be able to right click them
A light rain, or drizzle rather than just the occasional medium rain.

Also, a heavy rain would modify any grass shade to appear sopping wet, and would even sound like it.
Spawned villages could have birch planks for walkways rather than just over waterways
Spruce trees would be many more meters tall and be more spread apart in those biomes
Rivers would flow with even leveled active water. The active water blocks would not decline as you would see from a emptied bucket of water. They would make an ambient rushing brook sound.
An over haul of the random loot generated in chests: Spawn Eggs, water blocks, fire blocks, items normally found in creative mode, or hacked in, tools and armors with a fraction of their durability.

Double slab blocks.
Villagers would be ignored by all mobs [as to prevent their demise]. You could buy items from them that would normally be hard to come by [i.e. blaze rods].
 Rain washes away snow layers 
 Some caves would have spots of light for no reason 
Letter and number blocks.

Screen shot was a former bug in which some fences would be invisible.
Vegi Biome; Leaf blocks blanket dirt and stone ground.
 Creeper spawners 
Spawned Woods Villages. Buildings would use wood logs instead of wood planks.
Trapped chests when opened would cause a series of maladies
Cloud Blocks, in hyper fancy mode clouds would be passable and move on their own just as normal clouds do.

 Passive mobs could hide in leaf blocks 
Flaming arrows would emit light and any item on fire via lava would also emit light and may set any mob on fire.
Far chunks use to be dark shaded.
Let's re-add this feature.
Billboards; place signs on top of one another.
Also, editing posted signs.
Large oak trees would have bark on L joints.

Large oak trees would have patches of leaves rather than all over them.

Caves would have single cubed meter stone blocks
It's-Wet biome. The underwater overlay makes it appear the user is underwater, but isn't. It's akin to being in a cloud, mist\fog.
It's possible to create a quasi spherical world, traveling to x100,001 meters would turn into x-99,999 meters, thus traveling west or east would loop. The Z axis would have a length of 50,000 meters. When traveling north or south 25km, it would become impassable. The zero X axis would be the equator.
Each world would consist of three parts, the equatorial of 12 km wide by 5 km tall. And two hemispheres of 5km tall and 10km wide. All three would have its west and east X axis loop.
Darkness Event, any biome becomes shrouded in near blackness, it gets lighter higher to the sky.
When in peaceful mode, the player's hunger bar does not display when full.
And the HP meter is only visible when it's less than max.
When the character runs out of the food meter, he moves slower and slower to the point they walk, attack and mine at half speed much like the mining fatigue debuff.
A mode in which most mobs retain the same texture but have the human model. Sort of a pseudo multiplayer mode.
Many of the pre-release features that had not made it into Minecraft would be added;
A; Neutral brown spiders would spawn during day.
B; Crying obsidian would be default spawn.
C; The quiver would hold 100 arrows.
In Easy mode, no hostile mobs would spawn within half a kilometer of the player's present spawn point.
Diamonds sink in lava, but don't get destroyed.
Chisel digs thin hole (2x2 pixels) in stone. Visual effect, does not effect block.
Mineral blocks [gold, silver, diamond, et cetera] gleam and shine

Minor's Helmet prevents gravel from landing on player. Provides light.
Smelt cobblestone slabs to stone slabs. Smelt stone slabs into cobblestone slabs.
The human model would replace the villager, the user would replace the skins of each profession with downloaded skins.

Program dialogue for villagers, like in ZZT-OOP.


Scrawl words onto blocks with out using signs.
Like snow layers, a grass-fields biome would have multitudes of grass layers to smooth terrain.

Revitalize [Minecraft Fan Mod] Based on the Java Edition 1.2.5
in 2012 April 4th. MC1.3 was buggy, and just about every update since has added too many features, ruining the original feel of Minecraft. Any feature[s] with a depicts something that will be added to the mod.

A variable difficulty mode; 1 kilometer in any direction from the spawn point would be peaceful, 2k from the spawn would be easy, 3k would be medium and 4k would be hard.

Gravel would be the original texture.
