Proxima Accent - Interplay's 'Descent' theoretical fan mod

Proxima Accent Mod. For Descent
It's a mod for Descent (1994) which overhauls the main mission.
30 levels reduced to 22. Levels after 10 revamped...

A notepad file detailing the pre-alpha mod ideas.

My mod has nothing todo with Proxima Centauri, it's just what I named it.
Notable features are as follows; Mines renamed, less mines, briefings overhaul including more BGs, secret levels merged into main sequence of levels.
Lunar Briefing Backdrop
Finding Life On Other Worlds In The Solar System
Rendition of Venus for levels
4 and 5 briefing background.

Mars. The upper one signifies Phobos or Deimos as part of the briefing.

The lower one highlights the awe of seeing a red planet in the vast blackness of space. Hence I chose to keep the black background.

There is also this CGI for the last Martian mission which depicts the surface.

Callisto wall textures rock and ice.
Ganymede walls rock and water
Europa is water and ice.

From levels 13 to 16, each BG briefing has Jupiter appearing closer. With Callisto being farthest on level 13, Jupiter is seen quite a ways away. While Io being closest by level 16, Jupiter takes up the whole screen.

Jupiter appears in the backdrop much smaller than Callisto (or Kallisto (as there are so few worlds that start with the letter 'K'.)).

Jupiter appears larger than Ganymede.

Europa level briefing... Jupiter appears to take up most of the screen.

Io level
briefing.
Molten lava reinforced with 2nd texture steel frames. ‎February ‎14, ‎2017
Saturn. Each of the 3 levels will have a slightly modified briefing backdrop. Nov 2017

ee
Original Callisto mine, with re texturing of the cube sides to produce the effect of windows of rooms behind the texture.

Titan will primarily have tan shades

These are concepts for pseudo liquids;

Except for Io, the major moons of Jupiter will have some water. Europa having the most.

Titan will have flowing methane and haze.

Asteroid; For mine level 12
Earth sky
eThe Enceladus mission may consist of 3 levels, the first two won't have fusion cores.
1st is Icy, 2nd is rocky and 3rd is lava. The lava one has a fusion core.

e
Bug; when the core is overloading, the lighting dims on and off, which mistakenly includes lava despite it glowing red hot.
Hidden Door
Textures of wall sides tend to vanish

Bug Two Walls
Descent 1, DEM files and SAV files
Some BG music.

You can conceivably ram something repeatedly to
destroy it. If this happens to be a fighting method
you've been reduced to best of luck!

The backdrops for the briefings will effect the briefing text.
